Classified as a winter sports and mountaineering resort since 1968, Le Grand-Bornand has become a must-visit destination for freeride skiing and mountaineering enthusiasts, offering a high point of 2,752 meters at La Pointe Percée.

The Grand-Bornand ski area offers 86 km of slopes, guaranteeing an unforgettable ski holiday. Discover must-see spots like the Dénivel'Maxx, a legendary 3 km descent with an 1100-meter vertical drop. For powder hounds, the ungroomed freeride area offers pristine, untouched terrain for a truly unique experience. Beginners can take advantage of the Alpage Express, the world's longest covered magic carpet (230 meters), providing safe access to the beginner area. To top it all off, don't miss the magical experience of night skiing, gliding down illuminated slopes at sunset and enjoying a breathtaking view from the mountaintops.
How to get to Grand-Bornand
To reach Le Grand-Bornand, several options are available. Bus connections are offered from Lyon-Saint-Exupéry and Geneva airports. Annecy SNCF train station provides regular connections, with shuttle buses running to Le Grand-Bornand. If you prefer to travel by car, the A40 (Autoroute Blanche) provides easy access to the Aravis mountain range by taking the Bonneville exit. From the A41, take the Annecy exit, then Thônes, and finally the Aravis ski resorts.
