Head to the slopes from the Village
Grand-Bornand Village offers the chance to ski in a genuine mountain village located at an altitude of 1000m. Lively streets, chalets, and a Savoyard atmosphere give the area a distinct identity compared to resorts built entirely around the slopes. Le Chinaillon, situated higher at 1300m, offers a more ski-focused atmosphere.
From the base of the resort, the Rosay gondola quickly whisks you up to the ski area. Once at the top, you can explore the different sectors of Grand-Bornand or enjoy the areas accessible to less experienced skiers.
Change of glide
The Village is also an excellent starting point for exploring the Nordic side of Le Grand-Bornand. The area boasts 74.5 km of cross-country ski trails , and the Village is home to the biathlon stadium . Nordic skiing, biathlon, or even ice skating : there's no shortage of activities!
