At an altitude of 1,250 meters , Montchavin offers a completely different setting from the high-altitude resorts of La Plagne. Pedestrian streets, wooden and stone chalets, an old farmhouse and views of Mont Blanc give the village a true Savoyard character .
But with skis on your feet, you remain connected to a huge playground, with the 225 km of slopes of La Plagne to explore between forests and high mountains!
From the forest to the 425 km of Paradiski
From Montchavin, the lifts allow you to gradually gain altitude towards the different sectors of La Plagne. The village's location is particularly strategic for accessing the Vanoise Express , a crossing that takes only 4 minutes , and then descending towards Peisey-Vallandry, and finally Les Arcs . With the appropriate lift pass, the 425 km of Paradiski are then open to you.
A real village to disconnect after skiing
Once you've put your skis away, take the time to explore the narrow streets of old Montchavin, enjoy its bars and restaurants or switch into recovery mode at Espace Paradisio , with aquatic area, balneo pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi.
