The starting point for Freeride Week, Arc 1950 is a destination renowned for its must-visit freeride spots . From the top of the Bois de l'Ours chairlift, the Cirque de Fond Blanc is a challenging off-piste area that will delight powder lovers. A short walk from the Clocheret chairlift, Comborcière is a very difficult area that begins at the top of a ridge, allowing skiers to choose their line. The couloirs of Comborcière vary in steepness and narrowness, making them suitable only for expert skiers! Finally, the Couloir de la Pointe du Four is a breathtaking descent offering exceptional panoramic views of the village of Arc 1950 .
