Arc 1600: Charlotte Perriand's legacy
An iconic figure of 20th-century architecture, Charlotte Perriand left an indelible mark on Les Arcs. During the resort's development, Robert Blanc commissioned Perriand to create a lasting connection with the village of Arc 1600. For this urban planning project, the architect with her innovative vision redefined our perception of space. Her residences are unique in that they are perpendicular to the mountain, with staggered balconies to offer breathtaking views from every floor.
Blending harmoniously into the natural setting, Charlotte Perriand's buildings made it possible to integrate architecture into the mountain environment without compromising on aesthetics.
