Mottaret: the district at the top of Méribel
Méribel Mottaret, ski-in/ski-out access in the heart of the 3 Valleys
Perched at an altitude of 1,750 meters , Méribel Mottaret was designed for those who want to spend as much time as possible on the snow. Here, chalets and residences are nestled close to the slopes and lifts, with direct access to the different sectors of the valley. Its location in the heart of the 3 Valleys and their 600 km of pistes allows you to choose your terrain from the very first runs: Courchevel, Les Menuires, or Val Thorens are all accessible on skis.
Méribel Mottaret is divided into two areas: the center and the Hameau , which is located higher up. They are linked by the free Chalets gondola lift, which operates until late at night, making it easy to enjoy the shops in both areas and to experience a variety of activities.
Head up towards Mont Vallon
From Mottaret, you're ideally situated to head out and ride the high-altitude areas of Méribel. Head towards Mont Vallon, at 2,952 meters , to enjoy a wilder landscape and long descents. You can also quickly reach the various mountain passes that allow you to cross over to the neighboring valleys and create a great day of skiing across the 3 Valleys.
Activities until the evening
Mottaret is more compact than Méribel Centre, but you'll find bars, restaurants, shops and terraces there to extend the day without going back down into the valley.
