Perched at an altitude of 1,800 meters , Avoriaz is a resort like no other. Here, there are no cars : the streets are covered in snow, the accommodations are ski-in/ski-out, and snowboarding is part of the resort's DNA.
Its ski area climbs to 2,276 meters and places you directly in the heart of the Portes du Soleil , with the possibility of skiing between France and Switzerland on more than 600 km of slopes!
Freeride, snowcross and powder
Avoriaz's own ski area already offers 54 slopes and 35 lifts . The resort also boasts 4 snowcross courses , secured but ungroomed routes where you can experience a more natural skiing feel. Between the Arare, Hauts-Forts, Lindarets, and Chavanette sectors, you'll quickly find yourself in a different atmosphere and with a variety of slope types.
A benchmark in snowboarding and freestyle
Avoriaz is one of the historic hotspots of French snowboarding and now boasts four snowparks . Head to Nami Park in Arare , at over 2,000 meters, for its lines of tables, rails, boxes, Big Air jumps, and a small halfpipe. In the Lindarets forest, The Stash blends freeride and freestyle with over 100 features integrated into a natural environment. La Chapelle and Lil'Stash complete the terrain with lines accessible to different skill levels.
