Valfréjus, a freeride area on the doorstep of Italy
Between 1,550 and 2,737 meters altitude , Valfréjus offers 70 km of slopes in a high mountain environment particularly well-suited to new snow sports. Located at the end of the Maurienne valley, near the Italian border, the resort regularly benefits from the famous easterly winds that create excellent snow conditions .
Valfréjus has built a solid reputation among freeride enthusiasts. The Punta Bagna couloirs and powder fields offer excellent opportunities. For a long run, the long Jeu piste allows you to ski from the high-altitude area back down to the resort.
